PotO- Erik Smirking

Sick of this guy yet? Well get used to it. xD

Yep, ol' Erik pops up again. It's funny, I've gotten so used to drawing him without his mask it's actually harder to draw him with it. Still wearing his wig though, he has not spontaneously grown hair. xD

I swear, everytime I draw him someone asks "Who's the Zombie?" and then I say "It's Erik. He's um... The Phantom of the Opera" and then they say something along the lines of 'Isn't only half of his face supposed to be messed up?" or "I thought his deformity was like bubbly and melty and shit" or what have you, and then I explain about Gaston Leroux and blah blah blah and goddamnit. He's not a zombie. >>

I mean, come on! Skull like deformity, right? I mean, in the book, no nose, icy fingers, sunken in eyes, skeletal frame, "death's head" ? He has a skull like deformity. Yes he does. Shut up. >>

I mean, even if my interpretation of his skull like deformity sucks, that fact remains, he has a skull like deformity. That's the canon of it. Yeesh.

Whatever. Anyway, yeah, so here we got Erik, I reworked his eyes from my previous designs. The whites of his eyes and his pupils are now black, and his irises are yellow. This drawing isn't a colour profile however, so everything's pretty much black and green. Yeah.

Anyway, Phantom/Erik belongs to Gaston Leroux, art is mine.
