The Love that Dared not Speak its Name

So, the assignment was to do a Harlequin Romance novel cover/advertisement, could be about anything you wanted, and hell, I wanted to do something circus themed.

So, have some mimes.

This was my first watercolour piece, like, ever. I had played with them before, but this was my first real... thing with them. It was a pain scanning it, because it's around 16" by 20" in real life.

This was one of the first assignments this semester. Feels so old already. All I really have left to say is damn, that's a lot of pink. I like, never use pink. But Harlequin romance novels are always all sunset-ie, so yeah.
